Debbie Frakes writes about the mind—how we think, why we behave the way we do, and how greater understanding can change the way we experience our lives. 

Her interest in these questions grew over many years through extensive reading, personal exploration, and a deep curiosity about human behavior and change. Over time, this perspective became the foundation of her writing. 

Today, Debbie explores these ideas through essays, reflections, and her book, The Journey to CALM, offering readers a thoughtful, grounded way to better understand themselves and the patterns that shape their lives.
